RESILIENCE -VISION FOR A NEW AMERICA

A film looking at human rights under threat in the current political climate in the US, this film portrays diverse individuals in a country undergoing an enormous identity crisis. The film stars angel as a leading protagonist, and aims to invigorate a world in which there is space for the humanity of all.

The last years have seen both in the US and the Netherlands a resurgence of a strong anti-racist and pro-feminist activism. And both here and in the US, coalition is thwarted by often bitterly polarized discussions around identity.

In this context, the vision and practice angel articulates offers a way to move forward. 70 min, The Netherlands, USA 2017; English, Dutch subtitles.

Rev. angel Kyodo williams, Sensei is a maverick dharma teacher, author, and founder of Transformative Change. She applies wisdom teaching to social issues at the intersections of racial, economic and climate justice.

Her book, Radical Dharma: Talking Race, Love & Liberation is igniting long overdue conversations on what hinders liberation of self and society.

Rev. angel notes,

“Love and Justice are not two. Without inner change, there can be no outer change. Without collective change, no change matters.”

She was made for these times.
