Embodying Our Values In Times of Change
28 January 2018 - 2 February 2018
What does it mean to take a strong seat, whether you’re sitting, standing, or moving? What does it feel like to stand for something in the world from your own center?
Join Buddhist teachers Rev. angel Kyodo Williams and Śvani Erica Grevemeyer and access an engaged, embodied practice that gets you out of your head and into direct experience, where your true wisdom lies. Through discussion, physical movement, small group sharing, and journaling, you will explore:
How the body stores patterns and habits created by trauma and limiting beliefs, and ways to engage in conversation that disrupt these limiting storyline.
Awareness and breathing techniques to guide you in developing a deeper relationship with your center and how to return to it—and your truth—when facing conflictful situations.
Embodiment practices and centering presence exercises to help you align how you show up in the world with your values and beliefs.
Experiential exercises to manifest the liberating potential of expressing and living from an embodied foundation of aligned values.
