Perspectives on Connection, Compassion, and Belonging
30 March 2021

Howard Center’s annual conference brings together national and international speakers and attendees from the United States and Canada. The conference is designed for a broad audience, including mental health and healthcare providers, educators, clients and families, representatives of state and local government, law enforcement, the judiciary, and the general public.
In this talk, Rev. angel Kyodo Williams draws forth less-often examined vectors that impact our sense of belonging. Rev encourages the development of collective frameworks that can be an antidote to socially-inherited “disbelonging” within ourselves and the people we serve.
